Happy Thanksgiving!

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish everybody a joyous Thanksgiving! So that our staff, students, and families may share the holiday together, the dojo will be closed:

Thursday November 27th through Sunday November 30th

In addition to the usual pumpkin pie and gatherings with friends & family, we hope you have time to reflect on what things in life that make you especially grateful and happy.

For those of us at Silverton Self Defense, we have an overwhelming list of things to be thankful for: students who are dedicated and hard-working, very involved parents (VIP’s) that make our day every day, and a wonderful community in which to teach and practice martial arts. THANK YOU  for touching our lives and giving us the best job known to mankind! We hope you all have the best “Turkey Day” ever!

Thank You, Veterans!

As we go about our day of lessons and classes, we’d like to send out a sincere THANK YOU to all of the veterans in the community who currently serve, or have served in the past. The freedoms we sometimes take for granted are owed to these brave folks who’ve put their lives on the line to fight for us. Please take a moment today to honor a vet, or care for a vet’s family, as a small token of appreciation for their very big sacrifice.
